Went to the movie tonight with Burke. We saw 'I am number four'. It was a really good movie. And the best part is that it was FREE! I won two movie tickets from the hospital, where I work. When we got home, Kaden had drew a mustache and soul patch on his face with a permanent Sharpie. We acted like we were mad and made him go scrub it off. But when he walked away...we couldn't help but laugh.

Ryan had his 8th birthday the other day. Sent all the neighbor kids home from his party with helium headaches and sugar induced bellyaches! After Ryan's party he went to his very first day of scouts. He loved it. I had went to the scout store and all I got him was a shirt and a manual and it cost me $50. I hate going there it always costs me a fortune.

Kendra went to sweethearts last night. She wore my dress that I wore to one of my school dances. I told her we would hang onto it and see if any of her kids wear it in 20 more years. Kaden...still obsessed with origami. :)

Watched Superbowl last night at my mom and dad's house. Kaden, my most competitive kid, was having a hard time watching Ryan win the money off of the 10 cent board. So grandma slipped him $2 as we went out the door so he wouldn't feel bad.
I remember going to their house when Kendra was a baby and my dad and Kendra would always watch monday night football. Kendra's first word was "ball".

The other day Kaden came home from school and told me that he signed up for the science fair at school. I asked when it was due. He said, "Oh, the science fair was today." He made two oragami dinosaurs and the experiment was, what folds easier lined paper or printer paper. I told him that I would have helped him do a poster board for it if he would have told me about it. He told me that he just signed up to do it today because they gave him free ice cream for doing it! True scientist at heart.
