Hostess cupcake memory...When Kendra was a little girl she thought that the squiggly white lines on the tops of the cupcakes was her name in cursive. She's now 17 years old and still has Santa give her a box of cupcakes for Christmas. :)
There's a Hostess outlet store in Spanish Fork. Last year Hadley and his friend rode there bikes to the store at night after it closed and did some dumpster diving. They came home with a backpack full of old, smashed Hostess donuts, pies, and muffins. They thought that they had found a gold mine. The next week Ryan and Kaden made me drive them down to dumpster dive. We weren't as successful.

Long two days at work and one more to go. I work in the cardiac Cath Lab at the hospital in Provo. We do stents and balloons for people having heart attacks. We also do pacemakers and other cardiac procedures. I work long hours but I love my job. I work with really fun people. Most of my friends that I work with call me Danger. I've had the nickname since I started my job in the Cath Lab. When I first got the job, someone that I used to work with in the respiratory department told me that I was making a risky move, the boys in the Cath Lab thought it was funny, started calling me Danger, and it stuck.

Easter turned out to be a great day. The kids woke us up at 6:40 am to do the Easter Bunny scavenanger hunt. Then we colored easter eggs, and then went to uncle Rob's to the family Easter party. Everyone had alot of fun at the party. We discovered that the kids are getting old, though. There was only six little kids that did the egg hunt. Kaden was the oldest and Haze was the youngest. All the other big kids played games and sports.

Prom dress shopping with Kendra the other day. She took the day off school and we went to Salt Lake and shopped all day. I loved it. She tried on so many pretty dresses. She got a long pink dress. She looked so beautiful. She's going to Jr. prom with Clay Banks, the boy that has 17 hound dogs! :) He's a nice kid though.

Musical beds last night for one of the last nights of spring break. Hadley took 4 movies to his room he wanted to try to have an all-nighter. Kaden slept on the couch and watched a movie, but when we got up in the morning he was back in his bed. Then Ryan decided to have a sleep over in Kendra's room. At 5:30 in the morning he woke me up and said, "Mom, I woke up and Kendra's gone." She was in Ryan's bed. So Ryan finished sleeping with me and Burke went down and slept in Kendra's bed. :)

Found out Kendra has been sluffing track. She has been parking her car at the track but going to the weight room instead. She decided that she hates track and doesn't want to do it anymore. When I asked her why she kept parking at the track she said, "So I wouldn't get caught!" Too smart for her own good and too much trouble to keep my hair from going gray. I do love that girl, though, she makes me smile.

Picked Ryan up from school today (Kaden rode his unicycle home) and asked him what he learned in school. It reminded me of the time that we came home from church and Kendra who was 5 told us all about her church lesson. Then when we asked Hadley who was 2, what he learned in church, he said, "Don't stick Play-Doh in the airplane." Some life lessons are priceless. :) My kids always loved the story of when I took Hadley to Walmart and he stood next to an old man in one of the isles and looked up and him and said, "So, did Santa come to your house, too?" and when the man said yes. Hadley then asked, "So, wha'd he bring you?" :)
